Privacy Policy

Your block list, allow list, settings, block records (the URL you tried to visit, the time, your note) and blur counts are stored only in the extension’s storage in your browser. Gate never receives them.

For signed-in Pro users, only the block list, allow list, settings and daily numbers (blocked, bypassed, blurred and hidden counts, attempts per hour) are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). No URLs, images or notes are uploaded.

Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication, which stores your email address and sign-in method.

Payments are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record). Gate never receives or stores card details; it records only whether you purchased and the transaction id.

In the extension, Settings → Account → “Delete cloud data” removes your settings and statistics from the cloud at any time. Removing the extension deletes what it stored on your device.
